Gaz's site responds to your feedback

After 3 months of having my survey on the page I decided to take a look at the hundreds of survey results I have received. The results have been collated and put into graphical form on my feeback page. It appears that most of you think my Dawn site is the best on the web, and who am I to disagree? :).. Im very happy with these results and I thank all my visitors for remaining loyal to my site. As a response to the huge request for Dawn video's I have added 13 AVI videos of Dawn to my page! I have also added screenshots of my zombie film for you to see ...enjoy!

Server swap doesn't last long!

Some of the more astute of you will have noticed that for about a week my Dawn of the dead page was redirected to a new address. This was because I found a company who would give me infinate space for my site. This meant I could expand beyond my wildest dreams. infinate space is all very well but it just wasn't fast enough! I thought that the pro of having that much space would outweigh the fact that it was slower, but after browsing the page myself I realised it was annoyingly slow. So I redirected it again back to my old address and it was fast again. Im sorry for messing you around like that, it won't happen again :-)... this doesn't mean that my site is restricted by space though because I have found another site to host the larger files like the AVI's.

Romero signs new dead film!

After months of negotiation, Romero has put pen to paper last week and signed a deal to write and direct the film version of the hit game "Resident Evil". Till now "Spawn" writer Alan B. McElroy was working on the film script with Romero producing, but it sounds as though McElroy's script has been ditched. While Romero hasn't begun writing the film yet, he did mention that foreign investors seemed 'hot on making it' and now it's just a matter of patience as we wait for him to churn out a script. This certainly ensures a Late 1999 release at the earliest, with the film more likely to be out in Summer 2000.

Once RE is complete, Romero plans to jump right into the next installment in his "Night of the Living Dead" series. Financing details are currently being worked out on the film, but no plot or casting information was given away.

This is what all dead fans have been waiting for! We wanted another zombie film by George Romero and we got it! What we don't know for sure now is whether of not it will be classed as a TRUE 'dead film'. Will it be part of the dead trilogy and be considered the sequel to Day of the dead? or will it be simply a zombie film made by Romero. Either way its still a god send to all zombie and Romero fans. But I think if it was considered a dead film it would bring those hardened dead fans like me and you to like it ALOT more. BUT the downside is that if it was considered a 'real' dead film then the dead scene would become suddenly bombarded by 10 year old kids who played Resident Evil and then went to see the movie, this could 'spoil' what we have here, because the dead triology has a cult following, not a bunch of kids. Well it remains to be seen what will happen doesn't it! On the up side, this film will no doubt spawn others, and we will probably see alot more zombie films in the making now!..

Romero needs another film in the 90's to secure the tradition of his dead series, since Night of the living dead was made in the 60's, Dawn in the 70's and Day in the 80's, and we all know how much Romero said he'd 'love to do another dead film before the end of the nineties'. So maybe he will class it as a dead film, or maybe he'll do the Resident Evil movie and then carry on with the dead series after, maybe he'll make Zombie 2000 or Dusk of the dead.. Who knows.. my theories are as good as any I suppose! :-)..

Im going to keep my ear to the ground and I want YOU to help me, because I want to know when the casting begins so I can try and get in the movie as a zombie! Im sure you've got the same ideas, so lets keep each other informed about casting ok? Dead fans must stick together..
