Welcome to the new Alpha Software website! From now on we at Alpha aim to keep you upto date on all our latest projects. You can expect this website to be updated very often with details of new games and deals.
Let me briefly tell you the current status with our games, firstly there's Zombie Massacre. Yet another Gloom game, but its lots better, with 48 frames of animation per character and 30 well designed levels containing beautiful animated textures. Zombie Massacre also boasts a 65 meg FMV introduction and CDDA tracks performed by the award winning Will Morton. Forget Gloom 3...remember Zombie Massacre!
Next we have The Dead Walk, a breathtaking 3D isometric Zombie game which is so good it can compete with Resident Evil 2. This game features 100% polygon sprites and vast 3D rendered rooms. A complex 3D engine means that you'll need atleast an 030/50 to even play this game, but its going to be optimised for 060 & GFX card. The more RAM the more blood splattering action. Im glad so many of you are looking forward to it, but please no more requests for early demo's and beta tests! when the time is right we will release a demo to Aminet and begin negotiating with publishers.
Last but not least we have Tiny Car Racing, a fast action racing game which can be described as a cross between Super Sprint and Super off road! But get this, its going to be 8 player simultaneous action! The computer controlled car's have complex AI meaning they too can make mistakes, and even spin off and crash!...3 impressive releases for such a 'dying' platform I think you'll agree. We at Alpha see the Amiga's future very bright, although we're sad to see CU Amiga go, after all they reviewed our first commercial release. Now it's all eyes on Amiga Format. But we're optimistic because AF is one of the best mags around.
On the freeware side Ive got a few projects up my sleeve, all will be revealed soon...
